Mrs Carter in Portugal

Last night Beyonce was in Lisbon for an amazing concert. And this time I was there! My seats were too far from the stage, and I couldn´t see her very well, but.....anyway...I was there so I danced, jumped, screamed, sang, clapped, cried like a crazy.....and I had a lot of fun.

She is definitely a Diva. Her voice and her power is incredible. I wish she had sung my favourite songs "If I were a boy" an "Listen". But her new songs like "Flawless" and "XO" really rocked on stage.

I loved every single outfits, especially the first one (Tom Ford dress) and the Tartan look.

She really got something....and it isn't just about her beauty and her voice.......she is an inspiration for all the women who work hard to be respected in this men´s world.

"Because I am a female, I am expected to aspire to marriage,I am expected to make my choices always keeping in mind that marriage is the most important. Marriage can be... a source of joy and love and mutual support. But why do we teach girls to aspire to marriage and we don't teach boys the same?"

Next time I´ll be there again!!

Animal print

I never get tired of animal print...it´s a classic print. 

Today I´m wearing a pencil skirt with a black  blouse and nude sandals, just to go out for a walk....but I actually wear it to go to office ( with another shoes ).

It's my birthday

Yesterday was my birthday. I can't believe I am 30 years old now. I thought I would feel different ...but I am still feeling like I´m a little girl. 

Remember my wishlist from the previous post? It´s all about pink, nude and a classic romantic style. I bought these nude heels on Zara and the pink blouse on Primark, and I am wearing it with a lace skirt. Now that I am thirty I don´t wanna be to much girly but I want to stay feminine.

Hello!! Here´s my outfit of the last saturday: a black (faux) fur vest, a midi skirt, a denim shirt and ankle boots. Maybe those boots with the midi skirt makes my legs shorter, but I love it anyway:)

I´ve been away from my blog for a few days because I´ve been so much busy moving to a new house and with the holidays that I didn´t have time to blogging. But now I am back and I have so much ideas to start this new year in a good way and .....with a lot of style.

This year I ´m gonna celebrate my 30th anniversary and maybe it´s time to change my style ....and change my life. I am older but I am more confident and feeling prettier than ever....just like every women should feel about themselves.

These are my goals for 2014

- Travel (..to London)

- Exercise regularly

- Start an Online Business

- Post regularly on my blog

- Learn makeup techniques 

- Make clothes / use the sewing machine more often

- Make a radical style change  (maybe try an afro hairstyle)

Pied de Poule

Está de volta o clássico estampado preto e branco "Pied de Poule". depois de muito procurar por uma peça de roupa com este estampado, escolhi este vestido de corte clássico e cintura marcada. Infelizmente não consegui tirar fotos sem o casaco porque está muuuito frio. Espero que gostem também dos acessórios...o colar é uma peça feita por mim :)

The classic  black and white print "Pied de Poule" is back. After a long search for a garment with this stamped I chose this classic dress. Unfortunately I could not take pictures without the jacket because it is sooooo cold. I hope you also enjoy the accessories ... the necklace is a piece made by me :)

O look de hoje é super confortável! Aliás, nada melhor do que umas calças largas com elástico na cintura para me sentir à vontade. Comprei-as na Stradivarius e estou viciada nelas. As calças já têm um estampado elaborado, por isso decidi combiná-las com uma blusa preta simples.

Today the look is super comfortable! Actually, nothing better than baggy jeans with elastic waist to feel at ease. I bought them in Stradivarius and am addicted to them. The pants have a noisy print, so I decided to combine them with a simple black blouse.

 Hoje o Outono fez uma pausa e voltou a estar calor ...o que me deixa muito bem disposta!! Não sei porquê mas hoje acordei cheia de energia e até resolvi fazer desporto numa manhã de sábado ( o que é extremamente raro....lol) E para continuar no estilo desportivo vesti este crop top... mas completei o look com algumas peças mais elegantes. Today the autumn has made a pause and it is hot again ... which makes me feel so happy! I don´t know why but today I woke up full of energy and decided to do sport on a Saturday morning (which is extremely rare .... lol) And to continue in sporty style I am wearing this crop top ... but completed the look with some elegant pieces. Liebster Award

Hello!!

I´me so glad because my blog was nominated by stylish Taria-ann Verburgt from the blog Frunettte for the Liebster Award! Thanks Taria-ann!!!

The Liebster Award is an initiative to let smaller slash beginner bloggers shine and It's great to find new bloggers. Each nominated has a challenge: You have to answer 11 questions from the blogger that nominated you, in my case Taria-ann , and you also have to made up 11 different questions for 11 bloggers that you're going to nominate. This has to be a blog that needs to be noticed in your opinion with less than 200 followers. 

So, my 11 answers are:

1- Why do you started your blog ?
Despite not working in fashion, I've always had a passion for it and I was addicted to fashion magazines and watching runway shows on television. After discovering some simple blogs about daily outfits, I  realised that I could make something about fashion  by my own .....and then I decided to create a blog about my own clothes and my fashion inspirations.

2- Do you prefer fashion or beauty blogging ?
I prefer fashion blogging because I love clothes, I love making new combinations and see what others are wearing . About beauty ....... I confess that I don´t have much ability to put makeup on me..... I'll stick with the basic make up and invest in clothes .

3- Who's making your photos ?
Who takes my pictures is always my beautiful 10 year old daughter . With her I feel super comfortable to shoot, because I know she is my big fan and always wants me to stay well in the photos. But she is also very critical and sincere ... like all children ... and that's good .

4- What's your favorite garment ?
My favorite clothes are skirts and dresses because  it´s more feminine , glamorous and with whom I feel more elegant . I whish I could wear it every day, but unfortunately I can not always wear a skirt at work. Also loooove high heels .

5- Who's your style icon ?
My style icon is Beyonce and Kelly Rowland .... they are always ahead in fashion and have a very feminine style , full of glamor and sensuality .... as I wear if I was a rich girl ... hahaha .

6- What's your future look like in your mind ?
My next look will include a pencil skirt that I just bought , but I'm still thinking about the best way to use it.

7- What do you like the most about blogging ?
It makes me happy!! With my blog I feel closer to the fashion´s world. Fashion is beauty and style .... and I need it in my life . On the other hand, what makes blogging so interesting is to be part of a community that shares the same passion and is extremely rewarding to leave my opinion on any blog, get feedback and know that people are interested in my blog too.

8- What are you definitely going to wear in fall ?
This autumn I'll definitely wear pencil skirts , crop tops with sleeves and I will join some plaid clothes to my wardrobe.

9- Describe your style .
Well.....I 'm just a normal girl who likes trendy clothes. I don´t have an extreme style ...I am more casual with a touch of elegance. I don´t like to mix many colors and patterns, I am always very careful to make combinations of different pieces.

10- What's an absolutely no-go in fashion ?
I can only say that it is absolutely no-go for me ..... I hate clothes rumpled and torn .... despite sometimes being fashionable .... I think the most important in fashion is to dress according to our body , our age , and to feel good about it .

11- Who are your favorite bloggers ?
I visit a lot of fashion blogs  , but I always prefer blogs about personal outfits,  such as wendyslookbook.com...I love her style.

Lace for Fall

O Outono está quase a chegar e, apesar de ainda estar calor, só apetece experimentar roupas para a nova estação. O outfit de hoje é um look de transição, porque estou a usar um vestido de Verão em renda, com um casaco de malha e sapatos aveludados de Outono. O bordeaux ( ou cor-de-vinho) continua a ser uma tendência este ano, assim como o verde seco da mala......mas o que mais gosto neste look é a conjugação de diferentes texturas. Espero que gostem!!

Autumn is almost upon us and, although it is still hot, I already want to wear clothes for the new season. Today´s outfit  is a transitional look, because I'm wearing a summer dress in lace with a cardigan and velvet shoes for Fall. The burgundy color continues to be a trend this year, as well as green dry bag ...... but what I love about this look is the combination of different textures. Hope you enjoy!

Preparadas para a próxima estação? As colecções outono-inverno já estão nas lojas e já está na altura de fazer umas comprinhas. As tendências deste ano são inspiradas no desporto americano e no estilo punk. Definitivamente o punk e o desportivo não são a minha onda mas já estou a adorar várias peças, que tenho de juntar ao meu guarda-roupa e adaptá-las ao meu estilo.

Ready for the next season? The autumn-winter collections are already in stores and now is the time to do a little shopping. Trends this year are inspired in American sports   and punk style. Definitely punk and sports are not my thing but I already love several pieces, which I have to add to my wardrobe and adapt them to my style.

1º Anniversary of So Fashion Blog

O meu blog já tem 1 ano!!!

A ideia de fazer um blog sobre moda surgiu por acaso. Estava a navegar na Internet e encontrei um blog semelhante, mas não lhe dei muita importância, porque achei a ideia fútil. Através desse blog conheci a comunidade Chicisimo e comecei a perceber que é muito mais interessante conhecer as tendências de moda através de pessoas normais como eu, do que através das revistas e sites oficiais de moda cujas modelos nada têm a ver comigo. Depois comecei a descobrir outros blogs até que tive vontade de criar o meu.

O melhor de tudo é ter o meu próprio espaço para mostrar o meu estilo e fazer parte de uma comunidade mundial de fashion bloggers que comunicam entre si.

Desde então o blog já evolui muito em termos de design e de conteúdo. Agora posso dizer que o blog reflecte o meu estilo e é a minha cara.

Este mês vou celebrar o aniversario do blog com algumas novidades....por isso fiquem atentas!!

The idea of ​​making a blog about fashion arose by chance. I was surfing the web and found a similar blog but did not give it much importance, because I thought the idea futile. Through this blog I met Chicisimo community and began to realize that it is much more interesting to know the fashion trends by normal people like me, than through official websites or magazines with models which have nothing to do with me. Then I started to discover other blogs until I wanted to create my.

Since then the blog is much better in terms of design and content. Now I can say that the blog reflects my style and it´s my face.
